The Sinkhole Recovery
As Jerry’s Towing & Recovery’s operations manager explains it:
"We were dispatched to a vehicle incident involving a washed-out roadway. Upon arrival and further assessment, our team determined the safest course of action to extricate the vehicle from the deep sinkhole was to utilize our rotator to reach and recover the vehicle, allowing us to maintain a safe distance from the compromised roadway. There were no injuries reported. The driver remained on scene with our team throughout the recovery process.”
“Our crews are actively responding to multiple incidents today involving submerged vehicles, flooded roadways, sinkholes, and other weather-related hazards. We have not encountered a sinkhole of this magnitude since the flood of 1986. We strongly urge the public to prioritize safety—never attempt to drive through water covered roadways."
